#FAMILIESFIRST.
UNIVERSITY PROJECT.
#FamiliesFirst is a socially-driven campaign developed in response to the ongoing cost of living crisis in the UK. Created as part of an ethical design module, the project aims to highlight the growing pressures faced by families with school-aged children. Rooted in empathy and driven by activism, the campaign uses relatable imagery, real-world scenarios, and a strong narrative voice to connect directly with affected communities.
The campaign combines digital design, social media strategy, and community-driven storytelling to build awareness and inspire action. By providing practical support through our website and encouraging collective momentum via the #FamiliesFirst hashtag, we aimed to mobilise public pressure and advocate for meaningful government intervention. This project demonstrates my ability to apply design ethically and strategically, creating visuals with purpose, building platforms for collective action, and amplifying the voices of those too often unheard.
