This personal poster project was created during my gap year as an exploration of expressive vector artwork using block colours. Made entirely in Adobe Illustrator, the piece is built from sharp shapes and layered geometry, capturing energy through abstraction rather than detail. I was interested in how form and colour alone could suggest emotion, character and attitude. The process became a study in restraint—limiting myself to bold contrasts and hard edges while still aiming to capture something human beneath the stylisation. It was a challenge in composition and tone, and a satisfying break from realism.
