Capetti: Luminar is a story-driven 3D animation that follows a spaceship soaring through space, only to reveal that this cosmic journey is a projection, sparked by a meteor flicking a light switch, transporting the viewer into the imagination of a child’s bedroom. Familiar objects from the spacecraft appear again in the room, blurring the line between fantasy and reality. At the heart of the scene is the CAPETTI: Luminar projector, a device so immersive it feels like you're truly there. With the tagline “Let there be wonder,” the piece explores the power of visual storytelling through advanced animation, lighting, materials, and post-processing. It marked a major leap in my technical skills, including integration with After Effects, and represents a fusion of cinematic atmosphere, 3D design, and narrative-driven graphic design.
