NEW BALANCE CAMPAIGN.
ADVERTISING | UNIVERSITY PROJECT.
As part of a university module, I developed a campaign concept for a new shoe line by New Balance in collaboration with Tokyo Design Studio. The brief challenged us to merge New Balance’s brand identity with cultural and visual inspiration from Japan. I used this project as an opportunity to learn new aspects of 3D, focusing in particular on cloth simulations for the first time. Traditional Japanese symbols, motifs, and materials became the foundation for the cloth textures and forms seen in the final renders. This approach allowed me to experiment with both visual storytelling and technical execution while maintaining alignment with New Balance’s design language.
